About you

To be successful, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Associate Lawyer in Corporate, Estate, and Tax Planning
  • Expertise in corporate law (incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, corporate reorganizations, share purchase agreements)
  • Proficiency with MS Office, document management software, legal accounting tools (e.g., Soluno or PC Law)
  • Experience or exposure to tax law and/or charities and non-profit law
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing tax-driven transactions like corporate reorganizations, estate freezes, and rollovers
  • Preparing commercial contracts, including shareholder, loan, management, and distribution agreements
  • Advising on trusts and estates, including family trusts, estate planning via wills
