Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for a Fire Safety Codes Officer to join their team on a 1-year contract in Calgary.
Inspect buildings, structures, tanks, construction sites and various facilities to detect
hazardous condition or violations of fire codes and appropriate standards.
• Discuss and assist in the correction of deficiencies and unsafe conditions with area/facility
Prepare and distribute inspection and investigation reports, maintain building files.
• Deliver fire prevention awareness training to company's employees and contractors.
• Alberta Fire Group B Level 2 qualification. Alberta Fire Group E qualification.
• Previous firefighting or emergency services experience considered an asset.
• Microsoft Office skills are essential including Micro Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and
