We are currently looking for a full-time 1st year Automotive Refinishing Technician Apprentice at our Kamloops location in Vancouver. We offer competitive starting wages for new apprentices, with a starting range of $20-$24 per hour. As part of our mentorship program, we provide apprentices with a start-up tool kit from the company as a gift upon successfully completing the Red Seal certification and one additional year of employment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Apprentice will be responsible for:

-Assisting journeyman technicians in any and all duties.

-Document in progress repairs, including photo documentation.

- Maintaining painting tools and equipment.

-Mixing paints and primers to exact specifications.

-Assist in cleaning and polishing painted surfaces and imperfections to meet Craftsman standards.

-Reviewing work orders.

-Maintaining shop equipment and facility.

-Have either completed pre-apprentice training in collision repair or be in their first or second year of apprenticeship.

-Be comfortable in a team-oriented environment.

-Have a strong work ethic, integrity and ambition to succeed.

-Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract over the last 3 years.

-Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
