Our Air & Noise Engineering department is looking for an engineering intern to work out of our Barrie office location. This is a full time, permanent position. Typical projects include noise studies for land development projects, air and noise studies for land use compatibility, ECAs and EAs as well as climate change and net-zero studies. Design/draft using appropriate software;
Prepare air and noise calculations, report writing, project coordination and management;
Conduct site/field visits to review and confirm existing conditions and perform field measurements;
Compile and analyze data;
Confirm regulatory requirements for the project location;
A degree in a related engineering discipline;
Experience with AERMOD is considered an asset;
Experience with GHG quantification and net-zero pathway studies is considered an asset;
Experience with energy modeling is considered an asset.
