We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our Engineering team in Toronto . Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.

You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as a Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Participate in Collaborative Project Teams: Engage in team discussions across different functions and client interactions to foster collaboration and ensure project alignment.
  • Analyze Engineering Documentation: Review and understand various engineering documents, such as P&IDs, GAs, and process design guidelines, to extract key information essential for project planning and execution.
  • Ensure Compliance with Specifications: Interpret and adhere to contract terms and client specifications, providing feedback and ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop Comprehensive Electrical Designs: Create detailed electrical designs for water treatment facilities, including single line diagrams, load lists, and panel schematics, prioritizing safety for both operators and equipment.
  • Manage Project Resources and Risks: Oversee project budget, scope, and schedule, and proactively identify and communicate risks and opportunities to the project team to maintain project success.
  • Facilitate Client Engagement: Occasionally travel for client meetings or site visits, maintaining open communication and fostering strong relationships with clients throughout the project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting electrical design for industrial control systems
  • Proven ability to develop and follow procedures and standards, while extrapolating new concepts from established standards
  • Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to WTS products and systems
  • Understanding of Low Voltage Power Distribution System design
  • Understanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics
  • Understanding ofbasic water chemistry
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
