Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Analytics, you will develop and optimize BI solutions using Tableau and Power BI, creating high-quality, interactive, and user-friendly visualizations. You will also automate reporting processes and work with large datasets, employing advanced data analysis and data modeling techniques. A deep understanding of SQL, relational databases, and web authentication is essential, along with a passion for UI/UX best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop BI Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visual analytics using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Enhance UI/UX & Performance: Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance the user experience and optimize dashboard performance with large datasets.
  • Automate & Transform Data: Automate data refreshes and reporting workflows in Power BI while leveraging Power Query for efficient data transformation in both Power BI and Excel.
  • Web Integration & Security: Develop web-based analytics applications that integrate seamlessly with BI tools, including secure user authentication and role-based permissions.
  • Data Modeling & Insights: Work with large, complex datasets to build optimized data models, apply advanced analysis techniques for actionable insights, and ensure accurate, validated reports.
  • Collaboration & Agile Workflows: Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, participate in Agile sprints, present prototypes, and refine solutions based on feedback.
  • Documentation & Improvement: Maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, methodologies, and data transformations, and continuously recommend improvements based on industry best practices.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

  • Education: Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's in Computer Science or Data Analytics, with a Master's in Computer Science or Management in Analytics being preferred.
  • Tableau & Power BI: 5+ years of advanced experience with Tableau (Desktop & Cloud) and Power BI development, including automation (Power BI Service, Power Automate, scheduled refreshes, paginated reports).
  • UI/UX & Data Transformation: Proven ability to design visually appealing, user-friendly dashboards and strong Power Query skills for data transformation and cleansing in Power BI and Excel.
  • Database & SQL: 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and Snowflake Data Warehouse, with expertise in data modeling for large, complex datasets.
  • Web Development & Security: Experience in web development and implementing secure user authentication systems (including row-level security in Tableau and Power BI).
  • Certifications: A Power BI Certification and a Tableau Certification are preferred.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with FastAPI/REST API integration, Oracle BI Publisher, OBIEE, and knowledge of ERP systems and retail industry analytics.

  • Automatiser et transformer les données : Automatiser les actualisations de données et les workflows dans Power BI, tout en exploitant Power Query pour le nettoyage et la transformation dans Power BI et Excel.
  • Intégration web et sécurité : Développer des applications analytiques web intégrant les outils BI, incluant une authentification sécurisée et des permissions basées sur les rôles.
