The Northern Health Region is currently seeking 2FTE (full time equivalent)Anesthetists or Family Practice Anesthetists (FPA) to practice in a multidisciplinary environment in Thompson, Manitoba. The Northern Health Region is geographically the largest of the five Regional Health Authorities in the province of Manitoba and has a population of 72,000 people spread over 396,000 km², resulting in a population density of 0.Mining, hydro-electric development, forestry, commercial fishing, trapping, transportation and tourism are the major industries in the Region.
This position is located at the Thompson General Hospital in Thompson, Manitoba. The City of Thompson, known as the “Hub of the North”, is located 740 kilometers north of Winnipeg, and serves as the regional trade and service centre of Northern Manitoba.
