Job Overview:

Trans-Frt McNamara is looking licensed technicians who are motivated and determined to make an impact in the transportation industry. As a growing fleet we are looking for multiply individuals to fill a few positions located in Ayr, Ontario.

Duties:

- Must be a valid 310T or 310J Technician

- Responsible for the inspections, diagnosis, and repair on both tractors and trailers

- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions

- Candidates will have a strong knowledge of preventative maintenance applications as well as the transportation industry rules and regulations

- The candidate must have their own set of tools

- Creative and efficient problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations.

- Must be self-motivated and proactive in taking on any task that may arise

- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

- Must contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility

- Cooperative attitude, team player

- Hours Monday -Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Mechanic
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus
