As the Automotive Estimator (Field) you will:

  1. Inspect vehicles, estimate repair costs and calculate market value and compensation.
  2. Apply quality control to property damage cost containment.

How you will create impact:

  1. Inspecting physical damage and considering quality, safety and cost in preparing automobile repair estimates.
  2. Determining total loss vehicles by considering actual cash value and potential salvage returns against repair costs.
  3. Assessing digital quotes and repair estimates based on quality, cost and safety criteria.
  4. Working with clients, vendors and claims representatives to ensure efficiency, timeliness and quality of the repair process, including recommending quality repair facilities and monitoring the repair process through to completion.
  5. Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.

To join our team:

  1. You have two years auto body repair, automotive estimating, or related business experience.
  2. You have the Automobile Appraiser License or are willing to work towards obtaining the license.
  3. Proficiency in French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority francophone clients, groups, teams. The essential non-English duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
