We partner with 400 local egg farmers across the country and we operate in five provinces; including British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec and Ontario with 6 farms, 2 distribution centres, 8 grading stations, 3 processing plants grading, boiling, cooking and shipping eggs across Canada. Project Carpenter
Term: Permanent-Full Time - YEAR ROUND WORK
Construction Supervisor, Poultry
Shift/Time: Weekdays. Hourly Rate: $27/hr
Report daily to the Project Supervisor
Engage in new builds and renovations, both residential and commercial
Read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications.
Organize equipment and building materials
Operate equipment including skid steer, telehandler and payloader
Physical activity in a project environment (both inside and outside) such as pushing and pulling, crouching, bending, reaching, as well as some climbing and working at heights
Work on sites can be noisy, odorous, hot, humid, cold and/or dusty
College degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience (e.g. 5 years' work experience in a trade) preferred
~3 years of residential renovations or property maintenance experience
~ Previous work experience (can include part time or summer employment during high school and college)
~ Supervisor/lead hand experience is an asset
~ Framing, insulating, drywalling, flooring (laminate, tile, hardwood)
