Are you a Lawyer looking to join a collaborative and more casual job environment? Our private-sector client, a long-standing law firm in Downtown Ottawa, ON , is looking for a Wills & Estates Lawyer to join their team full-time, on-site.

3+ years experience in law firm (Wills & Estates preferred)
~ Solid knowledge of legal procedures/statutes
~ Assist with estate planning documents —e.g. drafts of Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Help to prepare trust documentation—Deeds of Retirement and Appointment, Deeds of Substitution of Trustee, Blind Trust Agreements, etc.
Assist with client valuation, and the collection, realization and management of estate assets.
Prepare and file court forms for applications of certificates of appointment of estate trustee.
Coordinate with the CRA and accountants regarding income tax obligations for trusts and estates.
Prepare and file estate accounts according to the Rules of Civil Procedure for Passing of Accounts.
