Lead installation, commissioning, and verification activities on Fire Alarm related equipment for all type of installations, including connection of devices and circuits.
Supervise, delegate and coordinate work with co-workers and electricians working on Fire Alarm systems. 
Complete verification reports for submittal to customers and carry out system acceptance tests with AHJ’s and other interested parties. 
Identify deficiencies and code issues in the field during verification.
Program audio and non-audio standalone systems (upon training).
Assist in developing employee training programs for employees and customers.
Minimum 3 years of experience within the Fire Protection industry.
Completion of a college diploma in Fire Protection or Electrical/Electronic or equivalent experience.
Completion of a Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification or equivalent.
Knowledgeable of provincial building & fire codes for verification purposes.
Demonstrated ability to program basic fire alarm systems without supervision.
Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft excel, word and Windows operating systems.
Advanced troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of electronic test equipment.
Ability to express clear technical solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
