We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC Design Verification Engineer who is not only proficient in the technical aspects of verification but also possesses exceptional customer-facing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to customers, addressing inquiries, ensuring thorough verification Alphawave's IPs, and collaborating closely with customers to validate design requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of customer interaction, contributing significantly to the success of our organization while providing avenues for career growth and development.

What you'll do:

Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to verification, providing timely and accurate responses to technical questions and concerns. Verification Planning: Collaborate with customers to understand their verification requirements and develop comprehensive verification plans to ensure the robustness and functionality Alphawave's portfolio of IP designs.

Testbench Development: Design and implement advanced verification environments, including testbenches, test cases, and coverage models, to thoroughly verify IP designs and meet customer specifications.

Simulation and Debugging: Conduct simulation runs, analyze results, and debug issues to ensure the accuracy and completeness of IP designs, addressing customer feedback and concerns in a timely manner.

Customer Engagement: Engage with customers throughout the verification process, providing regular updates, addressing queries, and facilitating reviews to ensure alignment with customer expectations and project timelines.

Technical Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in verification methodologies, such as UVM, to offer valuable insights and recommendations to customers, ensuring high-quality verification results.

Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including test plans, reports, and user guides, to facilitate customer understanding and utilization of verification methodologies and results.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, verification, and application engineering teams to address customer needs, resolve issues, and drive product improvements.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC design verification, with a focus on customer support and engagement.
  • Strong expertise in verification methodologies, such as UVM, and experience with advanced verification techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard verification tools and languages, such as SystemVerilog and VCS.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits and meetings as required.
