Job Summary Job Title: Assistant Teacher / Cleaning Support Job Summary: The Assistant Teacher / Cleaning Support plays a dual role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment across classrooms while assisting educators in daily routines and supporting children's learning experiences. This individual ensures cleanliness standards are met throughout the center and provides classroom support wherever needed. The position requires flexibility to travel between both Talent Montessori School locations as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in classroom routines, supervision, and preparation of materials as needed. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, hallways, and common areas throughout the day. Perform cleaning duties including mopping floors, disinfecting surfaces, emptying garbage bins, and maintaining washroom cleanliness. Ensure garbage is collected, replaced with clean liners, and disposed of properly at designated areas. Refill cleaning supplies (paper towels, soap, disinfectants) as needed and report low inventory. Respond promptly to any spills, accidents, or cleanliness concerns to maintain a safe environment. Assist in setting up classrooms for the next day, including tidying, organizing, and wiping down furniture. Travel between Aurora and Newmarket locations as required to assist in classrooms or cleaning duties. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies in accordance with Talent Montessori School standards and Ministry of Education regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or site director. Requirements: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (mandatory). Ability to work at both Talent Montessori School locations as needed. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Flexibility to assist in various classrooms and tasks as required. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour Work Location: In person
