North Central Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time   Bakery Supervisor to join our team at our Riverside Food Store located in St. Albert, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks within the Bakery department.  The successful candidate will have full availability.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Bakery Manager in all aspects of the Bakery Operations
  • Oversee daily operations in the bakery department to maintain excellent customer service 
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department
  • Ensure the bakery department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy 
  • Maintain customer standards by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns 
  • Participate in the training and development of bakery team members 
  • Perform general duties, as assigned including backup support for the Bakery Manager

Who you are: 

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Certified Ticketed Baker
  • 3 years of bakery experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and strong communication skills
  • Previous leadership experience would be preferred 
  • Retail Team Leadership experience would be an asset
  • You have exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • You have strong time management and organizational skills
