What you need to succeed:
- 1-3 years of experience building enterprise grade or web-scale software using Java and Open-Source technologies.
- You have earned a post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in business, technology, or engineering.
- Strong conceptualization ability, excellent ability to translate abstract ideas into working, high quality code.
- Highly collaborative and capable of working in a fast paced and dynamic team environment.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java (Spring Framework), Oracle, SQL, XML, JSON, Junit and numerous JavaScript libraries such as Node.js, Vue.js, Angular.js
- Familiarity with commonly used IDE tools like Eclipse/ Intellij, Database tools like PL-SQL Developer
- Working knowledge of Github or other version control tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Participating in design and code reviews with a focus on ensuring your solutions are high quality, secure, reliable, and performant.
- Strong collaboration skills demonstrated through the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, quality control analysts and security experts, as examples
- Strong adaptability demonstrated through a history of continuous improvement and adoption of the latest best practices, tools and skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B)prior to your start date . This includes; Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
