Duties

  • Performing and managing patient consultations
  • Managing patient care and setting up treatment plans
  • Diagnosing cause of infertility
  • Performing complex procedures including but not limited to egg retrievals, embryo transfers etc.
  • Providing emotional support to patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
  • Patient and staff education

Requirements

  • Graduation from medical school/ a medical degree is required.
  • Licensed or be eligible for licensure with the provincial licensing authority is required.
  • Passed Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) exams for Obstetrics &
    Gynaecology.
  • Completed or currently enrolled in a Royal College accredited GREI fellowship program.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, detail oriented.
  • Vast research experience.
  • At least 10 academic publications in top tier journals preferred.
  • 4-5 years of specialty residency training are required.
  • Two years of subspecialty training may also be required.
