Overview

Our client, a key player in the Water and Wastewater sector, is expanding its operational footprint. They are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team to work on a Waste Water Treatment plant in North Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate concurrent small-scale construction projects efficiently.
  2. Oversee installations of Water/Wastewater systems of varying complexities.
  3. Procure necessary materials for seamless project execution.
  4. Develop comprehensive timelines for installations, ensuring smooth handover upon completion.
  5. Manage resources and budgets meticulously to ensure timely project delivery.
  6. Contribute to the development of method statements, risk assessments, and commissioning schedules.
  7. Uphold compliance with operational and safety protocols, enforcing on-site best practices.

Key Skills:

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  2. Ability to decipher technical drawings, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and layout drawings.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Strong engineering acumen, coupled with analytical prowess and adept problem-solving abilities.
  5. Collaborative approach with a demonstrated aptitude for teamwork.
  6. Familiarity with CAD is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  7. Ability to deliver presentations effectively to Commercial and Project Directors.
  8. Prior experience in Project Engineering, Site Management, M&E Installation, and the Water/Wastewater industry is beneficial.
  9. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  10. Preferably, a minimum of 3 years of experience in the water/wastewater sector.
  11. Possession of a full EU/Irish driving license.
  12. Flexibility to undertake occasional travel as necessitated by the role.
