Site Reliability Engineer II

In this role you will provide advanced cloud engineering for the top-of-the-line security products on the market. You will be focusing on a cutting-edge suite of services to ensure application and network performance, reliability, and security for users connecting through the Akamai Zero Trust platform.

As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

  1. Optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
  2. Maintaining high availability of an infrastructure.
  3. Integrating and continuous delivery of the platform.
  4. Implementing new technologies and upgrades of the infrastructure.
  5. Configurating management and Infrastructure orchestration.
  6. Solving issues with systems and cloud infrastructure.

To be successful in this role you will:

  1. Have proficiency in Systems Administration in Linux and solid Linux Infrastructure management.
  2. Show excellent experience in Cloud platform.
  3. Have knowledge on Ansible/Chef/SaltStack/Jenkins/CI/CD.
  4. Have experience in monitoring and analytics tools such as Prometheus, Sensu.
  5. Have experience with any scripting language, e.g. Bash/Python.
  6. Have excellent problem-solving skills.
  7. Have good knowledge about Network protocols such as DNS/
