Senior Specialist, Contaminated Sites Assessment (CSA) - Burlington, ON or Calgary, AB - ( AUS0008WX )

We are looking for a Contaminated Sites professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist, Contaminated Site Assessment (CSA) . You’ll bring your knowledge of all aspects of site assessment, investigations and remediation to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects across Canada and internationally. Ideally this role would be based from either our Burlington, ON or Calgary, AB office but for the right candidate other office locations may be considered.

About the role

  • Develop and maintain key client relationships and support growth of the team and business.
  • Direct and perform highly complex or specialized aspects of the work while leading project managers and overseeing projects involving multiple service areas and subcontracts as well as stakeholder, client and / or schedule challenges.
  • Provide expert support and advice within and outside of the organization.
  • Mentor and develop staff.

About you

  • Recognized as an expert in environmental investigations and remediation with a dedication to and passion for your discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in contaminated sites
  • Expert understanding of contaminated sites regulatory requirements.
  • Hold or eligible for a standards based CSAP designation or Contaminated Site QP. 
  • Experience within land development, mining and/or transportation is an asset
  • Consulting acumen, including an entrepreneurial spirit, strong self-direction, and overarching belief in client satisfaction.
  • Strong people skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience in leading, mentoring, and training staff.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
