Job Title: DORA Metrics Developer/Integrator Job Type: Hybrid, with 3 mandatory days in the office per week (team day on Thursday, so availability on Thursday is a plus Duration: December 8, 2027 – 37.5 hours per week Location: Montreal, QC, Canada Requirements: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years in DevOps or technical consulting Proven experience supporting teams in adopting new metrics, tools, or platforms Demonstrated experience designing and delivering technical training Proficiency in coding and scripting (e.g., .NET, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash) Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Azure DevOps platform, repository management, and automation Knowledge of DORA metrics, DevOps frameworks, and engineering governance Experience integrating repositories with analysis or monitoring tools (Axify, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.) Knowledge of SSDLC, application security, and platforms (Azure, AWS, Tanzu, Docker) Experience designing, documenting, and developing REST APIs and event-driven applications Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and Clean Architecture Expertise in application architecture, integrations, quality engineering, and observability Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience Bilingual: French 5/5 & English 4/5 Job Description: As a consultant – Software Engineering Specialist, you will act as a catalyst for DevOps culture and application development excellence within development squads. Your primary mission is to support teams in adopting DORA metrics and integrating them into the Axify platform. Secondarily, you will assist teams in software development practices and deliver targeted training on key software engineering and DevOps topics to enhance team technical skills. Responsibilities: Primary Objectives DORA Metrics Activation: Support development teams on DORA metrics: deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery Design and lead training sessions, workshops, and documentation to ensure understanding and adoption Collaborate with teams to establish measurement baselines and set improvement targets Axify Integration: Lead the technical integration of DORA metrics into the Axify platform, ensuring accurate data collection and configuration Troubleshoot integration issues and provide hands-on support to teams Document integration processes and create reusable templates for future teams Secondary Objectives Technical Training & Support: Support and mentor teams on software engineering practices based on their needs Design and deliver training programs on: Application architecture and development Application security Integrations DevOps culture and practices Quality and automation Observability Adapt training content to the teams' needs and maturity levels Guide developers and technical leads on best practices Promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
