At the core of this process are our Junior Innovation Scientists. Creative, articulate and ambitious technical leaders who can identify disruptive research that challenges our assumptions of what’s possible, then matures those inventions into new startups by recruiting the right founders, laying out strategies for success and guiding those startups to success.

No one is born with that skill set, so we are looking for people with the right mindset, high creativity and drive to learn from our ecosystem of entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders. We will leverage decades of expertise in building leadership and companies to invest in your future as a creator of new businesses. You will work directly with the TandemLaunch executive team to bring forth the next generation of our ventures.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and conduct due diligence on new projects and investment opportunities.
  • Source and recruit exceptional people to become future founders of our investments.
  • Be actively engaged with our portfolio of ventures, supporting them during their creation and incubation at TandemLaunch and beyond.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Software/Computer Engineering, or Physics with research publication record.
  • Understanding of computer science and computer engineering.
  • Passion for innovation, entrepreneurship and technology. Bonus points if new consumer technologies excite you.
  • Clear and compelling communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to cultivate, build, and maintain strong working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Strong project management skills, self drive and high level of autonomy.
  • System thinking and a hands-on approach.

Vous travaillerez directement avec l'équipe de direction de TandemLaunch pour faire émerger la prochaine génération de nos entreprises.

Responsabilités:

  • Rechercher et effectuer une vérification préalable des nouveaux projets et des opportunités d'investissement.
  • Trouver et recruter des personnes exceptionnelles pour devenir les futurs fondateurs de nos investissements.
  • S'engager activement auprès de notre portefeuille d'entreprises, en les soutenant pendant leur création et leur incubation à TandemLaunch et au-delà.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorat en génie électrique, en génie logiciel/ informatique ou en physique avec un dossier de publication de recherche.
  • Compréhension de l'informatique et de l'ingénierie informatique.
  • Passion pour l'innovation, l'entrepreneuriat et la technologie. Points bonus si les nouvelles technologies des consommateurs vous passionnent.
  • Compétences en communication claire et convaincante, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral.
  • Capacité à cultiver, à construire et à entretenir de solides relations de travail avec des personnes d'horizons et de points de vue différents.
  • Solides compétences en matière de gestion de projet, motivation personnelle et haut niveau d'autonomie.
