The Painter performs routine and preventative maintenance painting duties to maintain the internal and external structures of the resort.
Maintains the building interior and exterior, including cabinets, doors, windows, furniture, trim, siding, railings, balconies, and other structural elements.
Mixes, matches, and blends paints, varnishes, stains, and protective coatings to achieve specified colour, consistency, and drying properties.
Fills holes and cracks using caulk, putty, cement, or plaster.
Applies paint, stain, varnish, or protective coatings to buildings, structures, equipment, and furniture using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other applicators.
Cleans and properly stores tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring the worksite remains tidy and safe.
Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.
Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
Conducts visual inspections of the lodge to identify required services and repairs, and estimates the time and materials needed to complete them.
Minimum of 10 years of industrial painting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Proficient in operating various equipment and machinery, including paint application tools.
Skilled in following mixing formulas and preparing paints to required specifications.
Ability to work outdoors as needed, in all weather conditions year-round.
