Training
We provide extensive training and development to allow you to acquire comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of Service Canada's programs and services. Training is provided either in person or virtually with subject matter experts or online, self-directed.

Arrange for servicing of office equipment
• Assist with administrative procedures such as budget and work schedules
• Maintain inventory of office supplies
• Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries
• Obtain, input, maintain and extract data and documentation related to applications, claims, and other administrative forms
• Analyse and validate data and/or documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Communicate with clients and employers to obtain and provide required information verbally and in writing
• Make administrative decisions on straight forward/non-complex applications that are complete and in compliance with the established criteria, procedures, guidelines, and system authorities Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to create a CR-04 pool of qualified candidates within Service Canada in Edmonton, AB.
These positions require working in office. Remote work agreements will not be offered.
This pool could also be used to staff similar positions of various tenures within Employment and Social Development Canada in Edmonton, AB.
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
•General Education Development (GED), Adult Basic Education (ABE),
A recognized post-secondary institution includes those categorized as "recognized" as well as "authorized" by The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC), external)
•The acceptable combination will be evaluated by considering a relevant combination of education, training and/or experience that would demonstrate that the candidate has the level of reading, writing, mathematical and critical thinking skills normally associated with someone successfully completing secondary school. In the absence of the Secondary School Diploma – the combination of the education, training and/or experience should equate to 6 years.
