The Senior Director – Earth and Environment will develop and lead CIMA+’s environmental and geotechnical practice in Northern Ontario (NO). This position is seen as an integral part in the development and growth of CIMA+ in NO and our Ontario Leadership Team. The Earth and Environment services will primarily support CIMA+’s key sector of Energy and Resources as well as assisting the Transportation, Infrastructure and Buildings sectors. The Senior Director will also develop his own sustainable external client base. The position will be supported by the existing Environment team located in Ottawa.


Develop and lead our Earth and Environment business and team in Northern Ontario.
Develop and maintain a strategic growth plan for the Earth and Environment sector in NO that also supports the CIMA+ growth plan in the core sector of Energy and Resources, specifically in the mining and metals market.
Develop client relationships, develop leads, and secure contracts to achieve business objectives, sales goals, and client satisfaction.
Bachelor of Science or Engineering or a degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the Earth and Environment sector, with an in depth knowledge of the Northern Ontario mining and metals market.
Proven business development skills, including experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a client base.
Experience in strategic planning, team management, quality and budget control.
Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications in English.
