Responsibilities: Manage financial aspects of high-rise development projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting. Prepare project financial statements, forecasts, and variance analyses to support project managers and leadership. Monitor project costs and provide updates to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines. Collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records. Implement and maintain project accounting processes and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Assist with audits and prepare documentation as required. Skills and Experience: Accounting Expertise: Experience in project accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for high-rise or large-scale development projects. Leadership: Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide financial insight to project teams. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in project accounting or construction finance roles, preferably in high-rise development. Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field. Certification: CPA designation required . Extra Consideration will be given to candidates with experience in: High-rise development, project accounting, budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis, construction finance software, and financial reporting for large-scale projects.
