Company Description Normal VR is the creator of Normcore, a cloud game server hosting service that hosts games for millions of players every month. He’s collaborated with musicians Björk & Lady Gaga and his work is part of the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art. His previous studio, RelativeWave, was acquired by Google in 2014.
This is a full-time remote role for a React, Typescript, Node, Postgres Developer working on Normcore's cloud game server products. As a React, Typescript, Node, Postgres Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern, responsive, and scalable web applications. You will work closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience building responsive web applications using React, Typescript, Node, and Postgres
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Strong knowledge of web application architecture and design patterns
Experience with Git, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Agile methodologies
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
