Apply remote type Not Remote locations Surrey, Canada time type Full time posted on Posted 5 Days Ago job requisition id JR4641 The Assistant DCM will support the Distribution Center Manager for the Surrey, CA location to ensure compliance with all processes and procedures and maintain operational efficiency. Additionally, they will provide customer service to walk-in customers.
Operate forklift in the order of fulfillment/shipping/loading process.
Release and ship customer orders via truck and common carrier
Calling in truck and common carriers for pick ups
Add freight costs to customer orders and track shipments via common carrier
Receive inbound replenishment inventory
Coordinate, release and ship vessel orders via truck
Scan completed delivery notes to customer service
File all completed delivery notes by month and year
Maintain inventory control via the ERP system
Keeping track of stock on tint bases and tint colorants
Perform inventory control activities
Review all Safety related inspection of equipment.
Perform managerial duties in the absence of the Distribution Center Manager
Occasionally assist with keeping track of and ordering warehouse supplies and office supplies (check monthly)
We are looking for someone with warehouse experience, management/leadership experience a plus
Basic computer skill to include MS Office
Forklift Certified
