Our Chabanel based menswear client is looking for an experienced denim and streetwear bottoms designer to join their dynamic team. Handling multiple successful fashion labels, this wholesaler is constantly growing. Reporting to the design director, the designer will be responsible for design and execution of the product in alignment with our clients brand identity and quality standards. The designer will be involved from conceptualization to completion of final product.

Responsibilities :

• Trend research• Sourcing of trims and materials• Working with the art department to develop labels and artworks• Sketching and tech pack creation• Working with fit department, ensuring proper fit and consistency• Daily communication with vendors regarding product development• Working with production team to ensure design is being realized

Requirements :

• Degree in Fashion Design or relevant experience• 8+ years of applicable experience•Computer skills; Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop, Microsoft Office• Well organized and a strong attention to detail• Strong communication skills; both verbal & written• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments• Excellent fashion sense and the ability to translate trends• A team player with a positive attitude• Knowledge of production cycle• Driven and results oriented• Knowledge of fit and garment construction• Ability to multitask, analyze your workload, and assess priorities
