Blue Thunder Construction Ltd. is a rapidly growing construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects, including multi-story apartment buildings. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Worker / Concrete Finisher to join our professional team. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of hands-on experience in concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and repair, with a strong understanding of safety, precision, and teamwork in a dynamic construction environment.
Prepare, set, and align formwork, footings, and foundations according to blueprints and site plans.
Mix, pour, spread, and finish concrete for the walls, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and structural elements.
Install, align, and secure rebar, mesh, and anchor bolts to reinforce concrete.
Monitor curing of concrete and ensure optimal conditions for strength and finish.
Operate concrete saws, power vibrators, grinders, and other related tools safely and effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, materials, and work area.
Collaborate closely with foremen, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in concrete forming, placing, and finishing in commercial or residential construction.
Strong technical skills in flatwork, vertical pours, footings, foundations, and formwork systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, level instruments, and construction drawings.
Knowledge of proper concrete curing, jointing, and reinforcement techniques.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are considered strong assets.
English level: Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada for any employer.
