Clinical Scientist – Surrey – Diagnostics

About the Company:

We are looking for an experienced HCPC registered Clinical Scientist to join a rapidly expanding diagnostic company in Surrey. The focus of the role is to interpret results, report and provide advice to HCP’s and the internal commercial team. There is huge potential in this role as company has grown by over 3 times in the last 2 years and has plans to continue with this trajectory.

Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis, interpretation and reporting.
  • Ensure that all laboratory activities meet compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory approval and accreditation.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of laboratory procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep informed on technical advances internally and externally in order to provide comparative evidence and advice to HCP’s.
  • Implement and maintain QA processes.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of lab processes.
  • Assist with the implementation of ISO 15189.
  • Participate in audits and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Educated to post-graduate level in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • HCPC registered Clinical Scientist.
  • Significant experience in genetics and cytology.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • A good understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
