Assistant Teacher & Accommodation Support Facilitator - Full Time Supply

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Educator/Accommodation Support Facilitator to join our Team in Keswick at the following location: 00/hr) and Split Shift Premium ($2.00/hr).
Accommodation Support Facilitator: $19.Candidates must be available to work a split shift in a before and after school program.
Full-time Supply Split Shift Position (25-40 hours/week): Candidates must be available to work a split-shift (morning and afternoon) in our Before & After School programs Monday-Friday to be considered.

To ensure the delivery of a developmentally appropriate, play based program by applying specialized skills and knowledge related to early childhood education. To effectively collaborate and communicate with other employees, families and outside agencies in an effort to properly support the needs of individual children.
At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid (training provided upon selection if required).
Experience with inquiry/play based program design and implementation, and with the use of pedagogical documentation.
Have the physical and emotional stamina to effectively supervise children in a variety of settings including outdoor public spaces.
Ability to use computer systems and programs; Basic understanding of special needs and knowledge of the developmental needs of children and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge.
Engages with the children and provides a positive learning experience.
Performs general housekeeping and classroom duties for children aged 0-12 years (e.g. meal/snack preparation, toileting, diapering, dressing, etc).
Fosters the engagement of and ongoing communication with parents about the program and their children. Attends parent and community meetings as needed.
