As a Graphic Designer at Cowbell Brewing Co., you will hold a pivotal role in defining the visual and thematic identity of our brand. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you are tasked with the creation, production, and management of all branded assets. As the creative force behind Cowbell Brewing, you will champion the establishment of a distinctive conceptual and stylistic direction for both the brand and its diverse range of craft beer products.
Key Responsibilities
~ Brand and Product Design: Lead in the design and execution of packaging for the total Cowbell portfolio, ensuring a cohesive visual and thematic style across all products, projects, and campaigns. You will define the aesthetic direction of the brand, maintaining a unified 'family' of products that resonate with our audience.


~ Marketing Collateral Development: Spearhead the development and production of a broad spectrum of sales and marketing materials. This includes ads, brochures, annual reports, client presentations, and more, in both print and electronic formats, ensuring the materials align with our brand's vision and market positioning.


~ Creative Support Across Departments: Act as the creative consultant for all departments, including senior management, sales, and hospitality, assisting with creative requests and overseeing the application of the company’s trademark to maintain brand integrity.


~ Strategic Planning Contribution: Work collaboratively with the marketing team on annual and long-term strategic planning, ensuring creative vision and brand consistency.


~ External Sales Materials: Take charge of the creation, production, and dissemination of all external sales visual materials, ranging from sell-in visual aids to promotional materials like glassware, coasters, posters, tent cards, and signage, as well as draught tap handles. You will ensure that Cowbell Brewing’s branded materials set the standard for excellence in the Ontario Craft Beer industry.


~ Creative support – Hospitality department: Develop the brand’s visual identity and create engaging marketing materials for both digital and physical media to enhance guest engagement and brand visibility at Cowbell’s destination brewery. Design visually appealing merchandise and innovative packaging for the onsite general store, aligning with the brand’s ethos to boost sales and customer experience.


~ Presentation and Persuasion: Confidently present and advocate for your creative concepts and designs, leveraging your strategic insight to uncover compelling brand narratives.


~ Team Engagement: Play an active role in fostering a collaborative team environment, contributing to the team's engagement and creative dynamism.


The Must-Have's
~3 to 5 years experience.
~ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
~ Experience in collaborating on 360°/Digital Campaigns.
~ Strong portfolio with proven body of work
~ Ability to deliver strategically aligned and results-driven creative work.
