Sales Financial Analyst

Our client, a reputable organization in the retail sector based is seeking a Financial Sales Analyst to join their team This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, based out of Etobicoke, on a hybrid model.The Financial Sales Analyst will be responsible for providing national sales reports and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and cost control. This role involves developing detailed analyses using internal and external data, focusing on target-setting, remuneration plans, and incentives.Responsibilities: Prepare and consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly financial and analytical reports on sales expenses, budgets, and targets.Ensure accuracy and thorough self-review.Analyze data and provide key findings and recommendations to management.Prepare and update reports on targets, incentives, and remuneration.Review and update compensation plans periodically.Collaborate with HR and Sales Management to implement changes and provide recommendations to management.Oversee campaign processes and collaborate with the Marketing Intelligence team for customer lists.Work with the Sales Optimization team on report requirements.Partner with the manager for campaign analysis and customer retention tactics.Recommend process enhancements and support ad hoc programs.Provide financial and analytical reports covering sales expenses, units, and targets.Provide management with a summary of key issues and make recommendations.Support billing.Define and implement strategies for optimizing the CRM system.Suggest process optimizations to enhance business efficiency.Qualifications: Completion of post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance or any related field, or equivalent work experience3-5 years of work experience in finance supporting business unitsCPA designation or equivalent (or in progress) is an assetSolid experience in data analysisStrong computer skills (advanced Excel and MS Access) along with financial modeling experience Experience with Salesforce.com is an asset Knowledge and experience working within Sales is an asset
