Position: Mechanical DraftmanStatus: Permanent, Full-Time – St. Laurent, QuebecRole OverviewPart of the Global R&D team to develop Correction products for Low and Medium Voltage Applications. You will work in Concurrent Engineering within the complete life cycle of the product. You will be reporting to the R&D Mechanical Manager to support Design and project activities related to your projects. Your challengesDesign & integrate enclosures for power electronic modules (Capacitor, Harmonic Filter, magnetic components, switching circuit & MCC, Active filtration) in accordance with mechanical integration related to Electrical Code (CSA, UL, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC…);Generate 3D and 2D detail and assembly drawings with BOM to support product design and maintenance for external and internal clients;Provide support to Application Engineering for Low and Medium Voltage power quality correction and system monitoring products.Support RFI-RFQ process, Project definition for product design related to customer Bid.Produce and control, production Engineering documentation in the PDM;Participate in design reviews of complete products;Propose, improve and maintain the processes of design, documentation and release of electrical products;Write technical reports;Participate in the design of integrated module considering thermal constraints and ventilation for cooling.Your StrengthsProfessional or industrial Mechanical Designer diploma or other equivalent field;Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical CAD design;Experience in designing Electric products and serviceable products for buildings, an asset;Experience in reading and understanding Electrical Schematic drawings, an asset;Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks and the Configuration and Design Tables functions, a must;Knowledge of SolidWorks PDM, an asset;Knowledge of geometrical tolerances and dimensioning (GD&T, CTQ,…), an asset;Knowledge of welded sheet metal design and manufacturing processes, a must;Has great attention to detail;Pro active and self starter;Great team player;Demonstrated ability to document work;Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;Knows how to take a critical look at his work and that of others;Rigorous and respectful of deadlines.LanguageFluency in English, spoken and written;Fluency in French, spoken and written, an asset.PerksExcellent Healthcare, Dental and Vision plansLarge focus on Stock options-we believe everyone should be an ownerOpportunity for growthPlease apply to careers@powerside.com with a resume and a cover letter.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Position: Dessinateur MécaniqueStatut: Permanent, à temps plein – St-Laurent, QuébecAperçu du posteNous sommes à la recherche de dessinateurs créatifs et pratiques pour agrandir notre équipe de R&D Global de produits de correction basse et moyenne tension. Vous allez travailler en ingénierie simultané à travers le cycle de vie complet des produits. Vous allez vous rapporter au Gestionnaire R&D Mécanique pour supporter la conception mécanique et les activités de projets reliés à vos produits.Vos défisConcevoir et intégrer des boîtiers et cabinets de produits pour des modules électroniques de puissance (Condensateur, Filtre Harmonique, composants magnétiques, circuit de commutation &MCC, Filtration Active) conformément à l’intégration mécanique liée au Code Électrique (CSA, UL, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC…);Générer des dessins 3D et 2D de détails et d’assemblage avec liste de matériel pour supporter la conception et la maintenance des produits pour les clients interne et externe;Fournir un soutien à l’ingénierie d’application pour les produits de correction de qualité de l’alimentation basse et moyenne tension et l’équipement détection de qualité de systèmes.Soutenir le processus RFI-RFQ, définition de projet pour la conception de produit liée à l’offre client.Produire et contrôler, des Documentation d’ingénierie de production dans le PDM;Participer aux revues de la conception de produits complets;Proposer, améliorer et maintenir les processus de conception, de documentation et de relâche des produits électromécanique;Rédiger des rapports techniques;Participer à la conception des produits.Vos forcesDiplôme de concepteur professionnel ou industriel en mécanique ou dans un autre domaine équivalent;Minimum 3-5 ans d’expérience en conception CAD mécanique;Expérience dans la conception de produits électriques de bâtiments et de produits de service, un atout;Expérience dans la lecture et la compréhension de dessins schématique électrique, un atout;Excellente connaissance de SolidWorks et les fonctions Configuration et Design Table, un indispensable;Connaissance de SolidWorks PDM, un atout;Connaissance du tolérancement géométrique et dimensionnel (GD&T, CTQ,…), un atout;Connaissance en conception et des procédés de fabrication de pièces en métal en feuille soudé, un indispensable;A une grande attention aux détails;Pro actif et autonome;Grand joueur d’équipe;Capacité démontrée de documenter le travail;Capacité de travailler en équipes multidisciplinaires;Sait porter un regard critique sur son travail et celui des autres ;Rigoureux et respectueux des délais.Langue de travailMaîtrise de l’anglais, parlé et écrit;Maîtrise du français, parlé et écrit, un atout.AvantagesExcellents régimes de soins de santé, de soins dentaires et de visionGrande concentration sur les options d’achat d’actions- nous croyons que tout le monde devrait être propriétairePossibilité de croissanceVeuillez poser votre candidature en transmettant votre curriculum vitæ et votre lettre d’accompagnement au careers@powerside.com
