Our client, a mid-size architecture firm with over 40 years of experience in Edmonton, known for its diverse project experience, as seeking an Architectural Technologist. They have worked on multi-million dollar projects; Mixed-Use, Commercial Retail, Interiors, Corporate, Industrial, Seniors Housing, Government, Institutional, and Religious projects. With a fresh new perspective on architecture and a recent rebranding, the firm is passionate about taking bold moves with its design. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed working drawings, specifications, and construction documents using Revit. Assist in the development of design concepts and ensure compliance with building codes and standards. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues. Review shop drawings and assist with contract administration during construction phases. Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to quality assurance processes. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field. 3–5 years of experience in an architectural or design firm. Proficiency in Revit (mandatory); AutoCAD experience is an asset. Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and detailing. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will receive a base salary of $60K- $75K (dependent on experience) + bonus (not guaranteed) extended benefits & free street parking.
