Junior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)
Calling Computer Science Graduates Apex Systems is a Global IT Services Firm and our Staffing practice is looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to place at our client, a Big Five Bank. Client: Big Five Bank
Personal and Business Banking
Length of Contract: 6 months contract to hire is a must
Working Location: Hybrid, 1 Day Downtown Toronto in Office
Project: Develop backend and front end solutions using Java, Spring Boot and Angular ensuring that code and configurations adhere to security, logging, error handling, and performance standards, as well as non-functional requirements.
Stay up to date on latest industry technical and business trends.
Work in an Agile environment with a continuous improvement mindset and culture.

You are a self-starter, driven and can handle multiple projects and priorities.
You are passionate about driving customer values with digital acceleration mindset and culture in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you get the opportunity to work with a spectrum of latest tools and technologies to drive forward continuous improvement.
You are actively looking to improve the solutions you implement, understand the efficacy of collaboration and reaching out across functional borders and are keen to work in a team in an Agile environment.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Knowledge of the required programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, including Java, SpringBoot, MongoDB, JSON and XML data notations.
An in-depth level of understanding with software development principles
Some form of hands on experience is ideal (GIT HUB, Personal Projects)
Java 11+
Algorithms - Data Structures
Agile - strong communication

2 rounds, first round is very technical, multiple quick succession technical questions with lead and live coding to problem solve together, second round with interview panel
