Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
  1. Promote the development and sustainable growth of proprietary investment business in the assigned market area by:
    1. Business Development: Executing on business development plans for prospects and existing clients within the mass affluent market.
    2. Client-Centric: Providing client-centric investment solutions through a financial planning framework, aligning with Global Sales Principles.
    3. Community Involvement: Participating actively in local professional and community events and associations to develop and expand your network.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
  1. 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
  2. You’re a mutual funds certified professional.
  3. You have current accreditation and good standing for MFDA licensing requirements (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  4. You are actively working towards a Financial Planning designation.
  5. Proven networking, client acquisition and interpersonal skills; experience building and maintaining Centres of Influence (COIs).
  6. You’re goal oriented and entrepreneurial.
  7. Extensive knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment.
  8. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, to meet clients and prospects within the designated district.

Please note that the compensation structure for this role is base plus variable pay. This is a mobile role and will require frequent travel.
