DietitianFull-Time, PermanentKelowna, BCMPA is proud to partner with a leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality long-term care to seniors across British Columbia. Work in partnership with the with the Food Services Supervisor and multidisciplinary team to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met. Design and periodically review menus to ensure they meet regulatory standards as well as residents’ nutritional needs, dietary restrictions and personal preferences. Provide evidence-based nutrition education and guidance on topics such as swallowing disorders and caloric intake etc. Lead quality improvement initiatives with the Food Services Team such as audits. Regularly meet with the Food Services Team to review the Nutritional Program and address any resident concerns. What’s On Offer:Competitive hourly rate. Extended health & dental benefits. Matching pension plan.Qualifications:Essential:Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition and completion of dietetic internship. Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Valid Food Safe Certificate.Current First Aid Certificate. Membership with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.
