We are seeking for our important client a highly motivated and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our oncology team on a 14-month contract. The MSL will serve as a scientific expert to establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the field of oncology. This role involves disseminating scientific information, gathering insights, and supporting clinical research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and academic institutions in the oncology community.
  • Provide scientific and medical information to HCPs and respond to inquiries regarding our oncology products and research.
  • Facilitate and support clinical trials, including site identification, patient recruitment, and data collection.
  • Present scientific data at conferences, symposia, and meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial teams, to ensure alignment and support for oncology initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on competitive intelligence and industry trends in oncology.
  • Conduct training and educational sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines while performing job duties.
  • Travel accross Canada

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MSL, preferably in oncology.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology therapeutics and clinical research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required (up to 70%)
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
