Join We Are Social as a Sports Content Creator and bring your creative vision to some of the biggest sports brands in the world.

What you’ll be doing:

• Shoot, edit, and optimize short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) that capture the energy of live sporting moments and engage audiences in real-time.
• Leverage your creative skills in videography, editing, and design to produce content using both in-platform tools (like TikTok’s video editor) and design programs (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects).
• Identify emerging trends in sports and pop culture, using your knowledge to craft content that taps into the latest fan conversations and viral moments.
• Work closely with writers and social media managers to ideate on quarterly and monthly proactive content plans for sports brands.
• Analyze audience insights and engagement metrics to pitch and produce content that drives shares, saves, and conversations.
• Collaborate across teams to support creative campaigns, influencer content, and production needs, ensuring the content aligns with the brand’s voice and audience.
• Contribute to our weekly editorial newsroom , taking ownership of identifying trends, insights, and producing reactive content that capitalizes on live sporting events and breaking news.
• Support the briefing of external content creators for social-first campaigns, ensuring consistency and engagement across all touchpoints.

What we’re looking for:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in content creation, preferably in sports or entertainment, where you’ve produced a wide range of social media content.
• A killer portfolio packed with high-performing social content—memes, video edits, fan reactions, and trend-driven pieces that showcase your ability to capture the culture of sports.
• In-depth knowledge of design tools like Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, and After Effects, with the ability to create eye-catching content optimized for different social platforms.
• Strong visual storytelling and video editing skills, with a proven ability to create engaging content that resonates with sports fans and boosts engagement.
• A deep, instinctive understanding of sports culture, from locker room banter to viral fan reactions, with a finger on the pulse of athlete personalities, trending moments, and digital storytelling.
• Thrives under pressure—whether it’s reacting to a game-winning goal in real time or pivoting content strategies when a sports story takes a new turn.
• A passion for creating content that gets people talking, sharing, and engaging, especially when it comes to sports .
