Site Administrator

Position Description:

Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Construction Site Administrator is responsible for the efficient and effective management of administrative tasks and processes at a construction site. This role ensures that all documentation, communication, and logistical operations run smoothly, supporting the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Team with the day-to-day activities of the construction site.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, plans, and reports.
  • Ensure all site records are organized and easily accessible.
  • Track and document daily activities, labor, equipment usage, and material deliveries.
  • Coordinate and maintain current records of drawings and consultant revision notices.
  • Prepare and maintain communications and documentation with head office and trading partners.
  • Attend and participate construction site meetings, record the meeting minutes, and prepare the documents for distribution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for site inquiries and communication between contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
  • Relay information and updates to relevant stakeholders promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of required site materials and place orders in a timely manner.
  • Adhere and uphold company Safety Procedures and policies to ensure a safe workplace.

Qualification Requirements

  • Previous experience in a construction administrative role is an asset.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.

Working Conditions and Environment

  • Primary work location on construction site.
  • Working days are Monday to Friday, 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m.
