Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the team at the top pension client. This team seeks a senior data Engineer to work on Data Service Applications for Public Markets and Alternative Assets. The selected candidate will support the investment department by providing data, performing data transformation, working on internal data for data lakes, and supporting live trading for data consumption.

Role Overview:

* Design and implement the data model and enriched strategy neutral data.

* Design and implement the data service using Amazon Web Service (AWS)

* Design and implement data related tools and analytics, in addition to operational processes.

* Address daily data exceptions on a timely basis and provide L3 operation support.

* Stay current with new data vendor product offerings and how they might be used by the quantitative investment groups.

* Manage and enhance investment data infrastructure through initiatives such as improving metadata and data integrity

* Work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with business users, engineers, architects, researchers, and data scientists.

Must have:

University degree in Computer Science or related information technology degree/diploma

Strong experience with supporting application platforms

Excel4Apps/Office 365 and other EBS Add-Ins

Cloud platforms integrated with Oracle EBS

Driven and able to learn new technologies in short timeframes

Critical thinker and have adept problem-solving skills

Strong ERP experience with Oracle EBS R12.1.x, R12.2.x

Compensation:

$170,000/yr. to $178,000/yr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
