Job Description

Job OverviewAs a Client Service Specialist, you will be the first point of contact between our clients and our company. This role is particularly well suited to dedicated self-starters who enjoy challenges, thrive on problem solving, and pride themselves in their excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An understanding of the financial services sector would be an asset - particularly in areas such as Investments, Insurance, Company Benefits & Pensions.This position is a 15 month contract position. The Steele Group is located on a GRT/iExpress bus route, but it is strongly recommended that candidate have access to their own vehicle.Company OverviewThe Steele Group Financial and Workplace Services Inc.We educate our clients - individuals, employees and human resource professionals - about the financial products available on the market today. We simply make your money work harder in everything we do.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWelcome clients and visitors to the officeDistributing correspondence and redirecting phone callsEnsure all administrative tasks are executed in a timely manner and with adherence to the highest quality standardsSupports the client relationship through interacting directly with team members and clients to ensure meeting readiness, including providing non-technical responses to client questions, as well as, guidance through set up and ongoing use of online financial toolsStrong interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with all clientsTime-management and prioritization skills to work in this fast-paced environmentPlan the logistics of the client-advisor meetings outside of the office, including time, location, and costMonitor client-advisor meeting activities to ensure satisfaction of all partiesPrepare envelopes for mailings and complete post mailing as neededPrepare, scan, send and receive formsMaintain marketing materials and office supply inventories, including ordering replacement as neededMaintain client database and electronic file managementComplete miscellaneous administrative projects as neededTechnical SkillsWindows 10Microsoft Word 2018/365: with focus on mail merge functionality and templatesMicrosoft PowerPoint 2018/365Microsoft Outlook 2018/365Familiarity with the following programs is considered an assetContent Management System (CMS): SalesForce.comTeam collaboration software: Microsoft OneNote, TeamsCalendar management software: Calendly
