Ce rôle s’inscrit dans un département dédié au soutien des services d'infrastructure informatique pour une organisation internationale. La mission de ce département est de fournir des infrastructures sécurisées et fiables pour répondre aux besoins technologiques des différentes divisions de l'entreprise. Cela inclut notamment l'hébergement d'applications, la gestion des solutions cloud, la connectivité, ainsi que la transformation numérique.

Le poste est situé à Montréal et fait partie d'une équipe internationale responsable de l'administration des services middleware. Les collaborateurs travaillent en étroite collaboration avec des équipes basées dans différentes régions du monde pour fournir des solutions technologiques de pointe et un soutien global. L'objectif principal est d’assurer un service uniforme, rentable et conforme aux standards technologiques de l’organisation.

Quel sera votre quotidien ?

Vous serez amené à gérer et à administrer des solutions middleware, à collaborer avec des équipes internationales et à participer à la rotation des astreintes pour le soutien des systèmes critiques.

Principales technologies prises en charge :

  • Suite IBM Sterling (Connect Enterprise, Connect Express, Connect Direct, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, etc.)
  • Connaissance d'Axway CFT serait un atout.

Responsabilités clés :

  • Assurer une astreinte en dehors des heures de bureau et le week-end pour la gestion des alertes de production.
  • Offrir un support dans le cadre d’un modèle de suivi global des systèmes critiques.
  • Fournir des conseils et établir des bonnes pratiques pour les équipes internes.
  • Contribuer à la mise à jour des standards, à l’automatisation et à l'amélioration continue des plateformes de transfert de fichiers.
  • Recommander des améliorations logicielles et matérielles.

Compétences souhaitées / Atouts :

  • Familiarité avec le processus ITIL.
  • Expérience en scripting (Shell, Python, etc.).
  • Bonne compréhension des systèmes d'exploitation (Linux / Unix / Windows).
  • Connaissance des technologies de transfert de fichiers (échange de clés, bases réseau, etc.).

Informations complémentaires :

La maîtrise de l'anglais est requise pour collaborer avec des collègues et partenaires internationaux.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This role is part of a department dedicated to supporting IT infrastructure services for an international organization. The department’s mission is to deliver secure and reliable infrastructure to meet the technological needs of various divisions. This includes hosting applications, managing cloud solutions, connectivity, and driving digital transformation initiatives.

Based in Montreal, this position is part of an international team responsible for middleware services administration. Team members collaborate closely with colleagues from different regions worldwide to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions and global support. The primary objective is to ensure uniform, cost-effective, and secure technology services aligned with organizational standards.

What will your daily responsibilities look like?

You will manage and administer middleware solutions, collaborate with global teams, and participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.

Key technologies supported:

  • IBM Sterling Suite (Connect Enterprise, Connect Express, Connect Direct, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, etc.)
  • Experience with Axway CFT is an asset.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be available for on-call support outside office hours and on weekends to handle production alerts.
  • Provide support as part of a global follow-the-sun model for critical systems.
  • Offer guidance and best practices to internal teams.
  • Contribute to updating standards, automation, and continuous improvement of file transfer platforms.
  • Recommend software and hardware improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Client-focused, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Openness to learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • Team player with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken.

Desired skills / Assets:

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Additional Information:
