However, the successful candidate may work from the Ottawa (ON), Toronto (ON), Montreal (QC), and Vancouver (BC) office. Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position requires physical presence (in-office work). The option of teleworking is available on a part-time basis in accordance with OSFI’s Directive on Telework.

OSFI is an independent federal government agency that regulates and supervises more than 400 federally regulated financial institutions and 1,200 pension plans to determine whether they are in sound financial condition. 💰 Performance Pay: OSFI employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on their performance throughout the year.

📖 The Manager, Cyber Security will lead cyber security risk management processes across the organization, contributing to the development and implementation of cyber security strategies, plans and policies to ensure the OSFI’s cyber security risk is managed effectively. Reporting to the Director of Cyber Security, the incumbent will provide strategic and operational advice in cyber security matters to internal clients, to mitigate risks and improve the organization’s cyber security program.

En raison de la nature du travail et des exigences opérationnelles, ce poste exige une présence physique (travail au bureau) à partir de l’un des bureaux du BSIF au Canada. L’option du télétravail à temps partiel est offerte conformément à la Directive sur le télétravail du BSIF.

Le Bureau du surintendant des institutions financières (BSIF) est un organisme fédéral indépendant qui réglemente et surveille plus de 400 institutions financières fédérales et 1 200 régimes de retraite pour déterminer s’ils sont en bonne santé financière. Les employés et l’employeur cotisent à un régime de retraite à prestations déterminées, et le régime de retraite de la fonction publique est indexé en fonction de l’inflation.

📖 Apprentissage et perfectionnement : Le BSIF offre des possibilités d’avancement professionnel et encourage l’innovation dans son milieu de travail. Le ou la gestionnaire, Cybersécurité, dirigera les processus de gestion du risque lié à la cybersécurité à l’échelle organisationnelle et contribuera à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des stratégies, des plans et des politiques en la matière pour assurer une bonne gestion du risque lié à la cybersécurité au BSIF. Le ou la titulaire du poste relèvera du directeur Cybersécurité et formulera des conseils stratégiques et opérationnels sur des questions de cybersécurité à l’intention des clients internes, afin de réduire les risques et d’améliorer le programme organisationnel de cybersécurité.
