With opportunities for employee training and professional development the City of Prince George offers a safe and supportive workplace in which to serve our community.
The focus of these positions is to provide lifeguarding functions, assist in the operation of an aquatic facility and respond to a variety of customer requests and concerns. The hours are flexible and varied involving morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
National Lifeguard Award - Pool Option
Within one year of hire: successfully obtain a Lifesaving Society Swim for Life certification.
Skills Testing: Interviews: Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 24
Saturday, June 1
Supervise swimming activities ensuring policies, guidelines and safety procedures are followed.
43 per hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits.
