Must-haves:
• Experience in developing Fiori Apps using the RAP Model, CDS View, and ODATA Services – 4+ years
• Proficient in designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views, both standard and custom – 4+ years
• 4+ years of experience with SAP’s programming language (ABAP)

TITLE SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics Developer / Enabler (Fiori) – Intermediate

SCOPE
• As part of the Data Analytics team on Experience Transformation (XT) Program, the individual is responsible for delivering and maintaining a solution that best suits business requirements. XT Program is focused on transforming and upgrading our SAP footprint to support Finance, HR, Procurement, Order to Cash and CRM capabilities. The successful candidate will develop application code in accordance with application standards and best practices working on projects, change requests and minor enhancements. This individual is responsible for analyzing, developing, and delivering the technical solution that satisfies the functional design documents and other useful requirements.
• The Developer also works with incident management software to investigate, resolve issues with various applications and resolve defects. The Developer unit tests changes to applications to ensure that the quality level delivered to QA is acceptable. This individual is well versed in agile methodologies and development.

DUTIES
• Translate business requirements into an overall technical solution that is robust, scalable, and extensible with supporting research (including building RICEFWs: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows)
• Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing application and infrastructure technology and its ability to support the business requirements.
• Design and implement simple and complex systems solutions in the S/4 environment.
• Provide development responsibilities to ensure the project is completed within the required time frame; Ensure code is migrated across project landscape according to project timelines.
• Work closely with other development teams to ensure design patterns and direction are successfully and consistently implemented.
• Create proof of concepts to prove technologies and patterns that can be used to make decision on strategy.
• Proactively anticipate technical risks and design/implement error handling and other mitigation techniques to ensure system stability and security.
• Participate in tier 3 application support activities including incident management and the assessment and delivery of application upgrades and patches.
• Identify and evaluate risks and participate in mitigation and control activities.

DURATION AND POTENTIAL START DATE: Jan 2024 – Oct 2024. Possibility of extension.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Nice to have:
• Experience on working in ABAP on HANA development on version 1709 (or higher)
• Experience with SAP BTP
• Knowledge in SAP functional modules, e.g. OTC, FICO, FICA, HCM, BRIM, PaPM, Disclosure Management, etc.
• Experience in Java development
• Experienced working with middleware technologies interfacing with S/4 / Netweaver environments
• Experience on Windows scripting and Unix shell scripting
• Client Management: can consolidate business requirements and translate them into sound solution architecture.
• Solution design: familiar with workflow concepts and how they integrate with application solutions in a cross-application context.
• Application development: knowledge of functions, features and facilities of applicable programming languages.

Education
Academic : Post-secondary education in computer science or application development
Certifications/functional skills : SDLC Methodology – Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development

LOCATION OF WORK: GTA or Ottawa. Hybrid model. March Road in Ottawa or Dundas in Toronto. Minimum twice a month on-site.
