This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) based in Guelph & Wellington County, ON.
This continuity provides better opportunities for recovery and rehabilitation.
The Psychiatrist is required to work collaboratively in a team-based care model, including with community partners and primary care.
Interest in actively supporting educational activities and an academic teaching appointment is an asset.
CMHA WW uses a hybrid model of in person and virtual service delivery.
FRCP(C) in Psychiatry and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
Experience in psychiatric specialties (adult psychiatry, addictions, serious and persistent mental illness)
Commitment to community-based services
Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and various database software
Valid driver’s license and own transportation
