Irrigation Specialist

Take daily block weights while scouting for pests and diseases
Monitor and measure crop growth rates and conduct audits on lifted crops
Adjust watering cycles and climate settings using a computerized system
Use, Maintain and Repair the irrigation system
Assist in herbicide and pesticide applications
Assist in Greenhouse sanitation practices
Keep neat and accurate records
Support innovation and continuous improvement
Promote collaboration and teamwork at all levels
Set targets (i.e., production, timelines) and evaluate achievement About the team: The Irrigation Specialist will work alongside Growers, Nursery Workers, and Nursery Technician, under direct supervision of the Nursery Supervisor and will report to the Nursery Manager. Qualifications Enough about us, let’s talk about you: Required/Minimum Qualifications & Skills: Highschool Degree or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License and/or reliable transportation
Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook)
Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Great organizational and record keeping skills
Customer driven and oriented
Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team Preferred Qualifications & Skills Relevant forest seedling nursery experience Additional Information Compensation and Benefits: At PRT, we believe in unconditional success through people.
